As Christians, we believe the world is a gift from God and as such we are called to care for and look after that gift as best we can. Eco-Church is an award scheme for churches that wish to improve their environmental impact and demonstrate that they care for God's earth. St James received our Bronze award in September 2022 and are now working towards our Silver award. Some changes were easily spotted, such as our wildflower meadow. Others are as important but not as noticeable, such as using ethical loo paper and cleaning products or offering vegan biscuits and oat milk.
